PHP received Health Provider Accreditation from URAC demonstrating our commitment
to quality healthcare. This accreditation provides important information for consumers
and employers in the selection of their healthcare network.
The Value of PHP Membership:
- PHP has been approved as a delegate for credentialing by all of its
managed care contractors eliminating the need to complete an application for each
health plan.
- Enrollment processing time with managed care contractors is reduced.
- PHP providers complete a single credentialing application at the time they join
and are recredentialed every three years thereafter.
- PHP staff respond to all inquiries and requests of its managed care contractors
after the provider completes his or her initial credentialing, eliminating most
of the paperwork and time you traditionally would invest in managed care credentialing
activities.
- PHP site visits satisfy the requirements for all its managed care contractors eliminating
the need for a site visit by each health plan.
- PHP staff is NAMSS certified and on-site to readily assist should you experience
any provider issues that require resolution.
